Sunday A Ride

Today I led an A ride to Devon. One problem with leading rides is people expect you to lead! Which means being in front a lot. Thankfully, others took some pulls otherwise I would have been complete toast. My ride description included the phrase, "no surpises." However we did have one surprise when Troy from Schwenksville went down going around a sharp curve on a downhill. His wheels just went out from under him. He had some nasty road rash on his legs. His bike, a beautiful all carbon custom paint Klien, seemed unscathed. He was able to ride so instead of waiting for someone to pick him p he rode home on his own. At least one person was dropped on this ride. I even got dropped for a while, mostly due to waiting for a SEPTA train.
